Happy Birthday !

Today I turn 24 years of age. Indeed, I am a year older and a year more experienced. My truck also is a year older and I'm finally getting closer to graduating from college with all but the Assembly Intership left to finish.

I guess I should be looking forward to the upcoming year, as it will be one of great change for myself, one that will define a lot of who I become in my adult life. I will be finally moving away from home and finally starting my own true identity.

Somehow though it's just another year, another day of my life. Being twenty-four years of age doesn't feel much different then twenty-three. It's not an all that different. It's just another day of work and another day of the sun coming up and setting. It's not a real revolution of any sorts.

My hopes are high for this year, the year of 2007. Things will change this year even if it isn't completely apparent from where I stand now. Things will get better and things will be more then just another day of work. But for now, I'm stuck where I am at 24 years of age.

Happy 24th Birthday !!
