Wireless Consumer Protection Act (A.2030)

Legislative Description: Enacts the "wireless telephone service consumer protection act", setting various standards to be enforced by the state consumer protection board; authorizes the board to promulgate rules and regulations and impose penalties for noncompliance; requires numerous disclosures regarding fees, taxes, and services; regulates terminations; provides for complaint resolution procedures and for complaint and compliance metrics to be recorded and reported.
