Outdoor Wood Boiler Restrictions
Legislative Description: Relates to regulating outdoor wood-burning devices; establishes outdoor wood-burning devices shall be operated only between September thirtieth through May first; establishes that outdoor wood-burning devices shall not be operated within seven hundred feet of certain locations; establishes that outdoor wood-burning devices shall not be installed or operated within two hundred feet of certain residences. Cowboy Notes: Lupordo has had this bill for two years now, that attempts to raise awareness regarding outdoor wood boilers. It's not meant to go anywheres, but raise a discussion related to air emissions of these machines. Most interestingly, Senator Marcellino of Long Island and the Chair of the Senate EnCon Commitee. 55
