Will The Real Cancer Action NY Stand Up? Cancer Action NY, should not be confused for the Cancer Action Group, located in Rochester. Cancer Action NY appears to be simply a frontend group for the St. Lawerence River Green Party, that is, all three members. The whois information on the canceractionny.org domain:

Don Hassig is an active green party member, with at least a couple pet 'green' groups of his own (that were totally his creation), such as St. Lawerence Pollution Group. He is seeking the Green Party Nomination, is a subsidence farmer and enviromental activist. I guess his email and postage addresses appear above. He lives in Thompskins County, near Ithatica. He is also a college professor. The good news is he is probably going to have little to no influence on politics. And now the registrant info from burnbarrel.org:

Chris Neurath is an environmentalist, a friend of Don Hassig, and it's clear they have worked together on the burn barrel issue before. He has gaven several speeches on energy use, oil and terrorism, and of course on open burning. Finally, I am working on a page with all this info and more—check back in a few weeks.
