Child molesters is two words that seem to get a lot of attention in the news lately. After all, everybody is afraid of those who might injure the most young and vunerable in our society that can easily be tricked into doing deviant sex acts that they are too young to know is wrong. Yet, at the same time we need to be careful: child molester is a powerful word that can be used to brand people in a powerful way.
Any solution to child molesters needs to understand two facts: we must be sure somebody actually molested a child and that we don't ever allow such peope to do it again. There will forever be such people, but child molestation will still be relatively rare compared to kids dying in automobile crashes and the alike. We must do the upmost to ensure no person is ever convicted, much less even put on trial for commiting an offense against a child when they didn't do that.
The solution to this problem is to make child molestation a capital offense. You might say that the death penality seems like a rash step to deal with people who engage in deviant sex acts with childern. It might be, until you realize what the death penality in our country requires. It requires a highetened level of scrunity that greatly reduces the chance of wrongly incarcarting people.
We never want child molesters back on our street. Executing them after a through review makes sense. It not only prevents subsiquent attacks by the same preator, it also gives a clear message: you mess with children, you die. Do you want these criminals back out on the street? No. Once we know their guilt and have subsiquently reviewed their cases, let's destroy them.
It is wrong to lock people up in cages, just like it is wrong to lock farm animals up the same way. It is even worst to wrongly term somebody a child molester when they are not. Freedom demands that we give child molesters complete review of their cases, and when they are proven guilty and no longer an asset to our society, they be quickly put to death.
