Racism or Urbanism

I don't like blacks. I feel that is a perfectly honest way to say it, as being around African Americans makes me unconfortable. Yet, I would never openly descrimate against blacks, nor would I treat them differently. It seems wrong to be against somebody for their skin color, and even thinking about my feelings towards blacks makes me unconfortable. I never grew up in a racist household, I just learned it from the rural culture I lve in.

I wonder if my racism is based around a lack of understanding of urban life or the cultures associated with black life. Is it that "I Hate Blacks" or "I Hate City People"? I know there are many city and suburban dewellers to which I have a similiar reaction to then

When I think of blacks I think of all the stereotypical things: criminals, lazy people, stupid, consumeristic, and disconnected from reality. White people on the other hand are hardworking, honest, closer to the land and reality, they're humans that do real jobs like farm or run mechanics shops. Yet are those characteristics of race or urban life or rural life.

It seems that crime is created by cities forcing people to live in close distance from one and another, and creating lots of laws to follow. Lazyiness and stupidity it caused by living in a world of concrete and glass, where all of your life is spent in air conditioned buildings. Likewise, if your not working in the dirt, your inheritly disconnected from reality.
