Judgment Day

There is a reference in many biblical texts that says that some day all men will be judged by god on our actions. They say that the world as we know it will come to and end and that man’s self destructive behavior will finally catch up with him.

Certainly we all have a judgment placed upon us day by day by other humans. We also have a judgment placed upon our legacy, or what we have done in our work to make our world a better place. Even if there is no god up there, the impacts we have on our world will last far beyond our lives.

Most of us will never gain the level of fame or notoriety to make our names a household word across the world. Yet, our actions always are affecting others. What we do or do not do can and does change the world. Our little footprints, as small as they may seem, make up part of the society that we are living in.

Somebody will ultimately judge us. It might be our friends now, or our close friends when we finally leave the earth. Our actions matter and do have a serious impact on the world around us. We must always question, and learn to respect the eternal truths places upon us by the natural world.

There may not be one day when the world comes to an end, but we will forever change it for the better or worst.
