War and the Enviroment: The Cost Rarely Discussed

When we think of pollution, we all too often think of smokestacks, black smoke, and domestic activities.

Yet that may pale to the toxic chemicals our war machine releasesinto the enviroment without thought or care.

And where not even talking the bomb. The bomb, which like it or not, still hangs over our head day and night—while we may be a peace withRussia, it's still an exteremly dangerous weapon, that is only a fingertip away from each country.

Convental weapons are dirty. They use a variety of toxic substances tocreate their explosions and obviously kill inocent animal, plant and humanlife.

It's expensive, and has it's costs.

Will the much of the land in Afgastan be suitable for agriculture afterthe war is over? We will wait and see.

War isn't free, in any sense of the word.
