Lake George to some people is the perfect vaction place. It's warm and sunny, there is that nice big lake, and of course all those shops.

But there is the downside. It's noisey. It's crazy. It's flashy. And worst of all, forget parking. As I've pointed out, parking is everything. But forget about easy street parking around there. They have those evil parking meters, that force you to stuff quarters in them to be there any lenght of time. And they have more pig-f@ckers running around, then your typical city.

How Can You Relax?!

With all that noise and crazyiness, I don't see how anybody could ever relax there. You just know there is a guy in a blue suit with a gun just waiting to leave an impression on you—literally, too.

How can you relax there? That is a question? Maybe the crazy urban/subraban lifestyle makes that area feel relaxing. If you ignore, but obey all the rules and regulations and red tape.

If you ask me, a far more relaxing place is going out into the wilderness, to go hiking, camping, and the alike. When your alone (in the sense of being only one of a close nit group), things are much different. When the nearest town is 10 miles away, as long as you show respect to nature, their isn't that many rules.

Can't Get There

The canoe can take you many places the motor boat can't. Understandably, the motor boat is probably a great deal of fun, and I wouldn't mind going to one of those lakes sometimes, you just don't see what you see with the canoe. You don't feel nature the same way.

Don't get me wrong, I love my car (I've said this many times before). It is the way to get there. To the wildreness, where I can go hiking, or if I had an ATV, go for a ride. It's important for everyone to get a way after a while.
