Windy Night

A short poem about spring's winds.

June 8, 2003

A Rainy Evening: Some thoughts to clearing the mind on a rainy evening at home.

Beaver on Beaver Road: Experiencing a little nature across the road.

Lightening Flashes: Reflecting upon one summer thunderstorm.

Monday Morning, 6 AM: Dreaming as I look out the window one summer morning.

Windy Night

It is a windy night,
wind rushing through the trees,
blowing a cold rainy air from
up north.

Wind brings a million smells
from that of cows in the spring
to meadows in June to
rain clearing out the pollen in August

For only when we think
of the win will we
ever be taken away by it.

I hope that the wind continues to
inspire and to challenge,
to clear and to open
us to change.
