One of the simplest pleasures in life is sitting down by a lake or stream, and throwing rocks in the water. There is really no reason to do as such, but it's so enjoyable to watch the rocks skip along the water, and watch the wake of boats roll the waves back in.
I can sit down by a lake for hours. It is such an enjoyable place to be. You watch the boats go by, the sun go up and go down, and the waves continue to roll in. Water is always so peaceful, and somehow so distant from the crazy society that is too close.
Bring a book. Bring a set of headphones. Just sit back and appreciate the water. And toss a few more pebbles into the lake – they'll be washed back out once again.
