It's easy to be critical of Eliot Spitzer. What you can't be critical of is the man's indepedence. Spitzer is Spitzer and he's not that influenced by either his party's own ideals or that of big money. You might not always agree with him but you have to respect him for all that he stands for being.

Spitzer is a man of money. He's so rich that few governors besides Nelson Rockefeller and Averill Harriman could even compete with him. He simply lives in a different world then the rest of us, and has the ability to float above partisanship and big business to do what he feels is right for the people of New York. Nobody can bribe him or get him to go along with the newest fads.

You have to respect a man who does what he things is right. Nobody tells Spitzer what to do, but he sure isn't afraid to actively preuse justice no matter the struggles against him. Whether your a liberal or a conservative this November, you will see that Spitzer is our man even if he doesn't always agree with everything you stand for today.
