2004 Endorsements: 2004 key campaign issues and candidates.

2006 Endorsements: The candidates I endorse for the election.

Aubertine Runs for the Senate: He'd be a great Senator, but I have reservations about a Democratic Senate.

Congressman Phil Steck: Why I think Steck should take McNulty's old seat.

Ed Kosiur: Kosiur is a community leader and should be your choice.

Election Concepts 2006: Some of the major races we should be working on this year.

Kirsten Gillibrand: We need new leadership in NY-20 that Kirsten will provide.

Mike Conners: The Albany County Comptroller is an independent public advocate.

Town of Brunswick Chooses: Paul Engelke for Supervisor and Sue Haynes for Town Board will promote sensible development.

Doug Bullock

Doug Bullock is running for election to the County Legislature in an open seat in Albany. A long-time labor activist and resident of his Albany community, he will be a solid representative of his district.

He has been nicknamed Doug “The Bullhorn” Bullock for being out their and in front at labor rallies championing for the causes of the Public Employees Federation (PEF), among other unions. He is a founding member of the Capital Region Solidarity Committee, a social activism organization joining together many of the local unions.

Not only is he a union activist, but he has been a very vocal critic of the war and the current direction of our country. He has been involved in Pine Hills Neighborhoods for Peace and DFA. A tireless campaigner, his work with unions helped get the unions to be strongly behind Kirsten Gillibrand, supplying both labor to campaigns and additional votes.

Doug will have a clear voice when he joins the County Legislature after the primary. He will talk for his community, and make sure that the county hears about the problems of the city. He will truly be a great representative for the 8th Legislative District.
