Schumer and Pelosi Say Draft Bill Dead. Charlie Rangel's bill that he's been pushing forever to reinstate the draft to make people more conscience of the war and make it more equitable for rich and poor, is dead on arrival according to Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi. P'Link
CFE Case Says $1.93 Billion Final. It looks like New York State will only be ponying up $1.93 billion under a court ordered setlement, that's likely final for increased school aid to New York City schools. P'Link
