Saturday. Went for a swim in the swimming hole. It was nice, although I probably should have found more time for it and went back in after dark.
I left my lights and jump starter at the apartment, so I decided against it—plus I didn't have alot of extra firewood handy to keep it bright out enough to spend time in the swimming hole.
It was hot. It's summer. P'Link
Rain a P-Run. I expected a quick T-storm when I went up to P-Run. It poured for an hour and a half with some so-so-lighting.
Sitting in the rain, watching the lightening can be fun, as can be reading a book. But it wasn't nearly as cool or nice as I hoped. That said, after the rain dried up it was fairly cool up there compared to everywheres else in this past oppressively hot weekend. P'Link
Warm Bike Out There. It's purty hot out there today, although so far most of it's humidity and not heat. Once the sun gets up it will get much hotter.
It was a nice ride in, although it constantly felt like I was riding through a swath of water. Everything is wet from the humidity and the 4:30 AM thunderstorm that left a little bit of rain.
By the time I got to work I was dripping. The bandanna, the deodorant, and the fresh undershirt was nice—although I somewhat wish I had warn shorts in and then changed into jeans. P'Link
