All I can say, it's be en one hell of an experience.
Well, maybe one fog. See, I'm not exactly the observant type—but I've walked around the campus hopefully enough, that I'll actually figure out some of this crap. So postive.
Seriously though, my list of complaints is long, but probably not partically surpsing. I miss having things done the HVCC way, which seemed a lot better. Okay, the list:
And more... But it's fun to take out my stress out on the internet.
Just a quick reminder of some of the stuff we talked about last week (this is also test the improved archives system).
First off, I discussed morons and ATVs, and how some people just don't know how to respect people's property rights. I posted a link to Mark Ferran's ATV horror stories, about idiots who choose to abuse their ATVs, and reduce the rest of our liberties. Die maggots.
To kill (well, at least scare the living sheit out of them), Ferran has some good advice on your rights to use force when it comes to tresspassers.
Lots of stuff made it into the Times Union about this on Sunday (including a few comments from Ferran)—I'll post more about this tommorow.
Finally, I want to thank Ferran again for sending this stuff. Sorry my first post got accidently deleted.
Another line of thought was on landfills (particularly the Rapp Road one, and societies' wastefulness). Much of that line of thought is going into a new fodder about recycling and society's wastefulness. More to come on that too.
Sorry for the problems, again!
Today was quite a day—and I even got a few hours of sleep this afternoon.
Change is stressful, as we all know. If I could stay the same and never change life would be so much better.
Bueraucracy can be such a pain, as can be a society that is overburdened by people. See all the trouble science has gotten us into, making us into a mass society governed by rules and red tape and less and less common sense. We build standards and rules for everything, and loose the human bonds.
And hell, let's drink to those morons who weren't spanked enough by their parents.
I'm sorry. Some people make me sick. I like to think of myself as a conservative radical, somebody of the radical tradition of early-to-mid 1960s before things changed. Of course that's not realistic, no such radical ever existed.
See, I would think it possible to be a straight yet radical. Be free but not a mess of drugs, sex, and sanatonic rock 'n roll. All of those things might be okay in moderation, but we as a society has gone too far in trying not to fit in.
I guess if I had a choice of cancer or polio, I'd go for which ever was more pragmatic and less freaky. Our grown up society seems to live without dressing in black and having long 'blue' hair, why can the rest of us follow such standards in respect in human diginity?
I suffer from the blue collar instinicts, at least at some level. I really dislike spoiled brats, but I can't exactly say I'm a hard working person. I'm a person of priveledge, who like many in the past, somewhat reject it.
Okay, I'm just trying to make sense of all this stuff.
Sometimes it just happens that
mdash;what can one really do about it?I guess that's life—at least how we know it. It's back to work for another exciting (or not so exciting week). Back to school, but I just can feel this
k to be far better then last week. But I loss this week's ever so excitin
scussion of ATVs somehow. Ouch. But I have at least part of it around in other files, so I'll try to post whatever I can find. Look below for some of my comments on ATVs—more coming t
row. That said, most of the exciting old fodder, on almost everything is back—and in many cases improved over the HVCC site. Additionally the old archives dating back to August of 2000 are now up. Pretty cool, if your looking for—
about anything you'd find in a dusty old garage. You may only use the form posted on penguinppc.org to contact me—that email address is temporarly d
until further notice, due to a violation of my terms.I'll fix it ASAP.
