Knox State Forest. Hiked down CR 256 (?), to place where it overlooks valley/barn with red roof (remember summer Marg. Burke pic?). Hiked in Eastern section, a ways back, until lost trail. Some natural medows. Hiked around Western part. Lots of nice open fields. Some hunters out. Hiked all the way down trail to the "Restricted Area" signs. Lots of nice open fields, sillowette of the hills in the background. Nice place. Got nice pictures. Stopped along Rock Road and grabbed some pictures behind Berne. P'Link
Partridge Run Fall Foliage Evening. Hiked along Partridge Run a bit (got some pics). Hiked out to Long Path P-Run Overlook. Hiked around above Wood Duck Pond. Hiked into cleared out area. Heard noise similiar to a cat growl—mountain lion? I doubt it. Went to another place. A lot of hunters out (small game season for ?). P'Link
