Along Escartment, Bike Ride Around Bush Drive. Parked in Overlook lot at Thachter Park. Nice up here—a recent snowfall the night before left about an inch of snow on the ground, and on the trees—just beautiful. Cool, but not cold—although I sort of wished I had worn snowpants.
Not as clear as I has expected up here. Hiked South along edge of escartment, almost to edge of park. Hiked back to Overlook, and hiked to other end, so to get a better view south. Drove to area near swmming pool. Hiked along Escartment, to the point where there is a really good view south. Got some fabolous pictures of the waterfall on the way.
Still kind of hazy looking towards the city—and obviously everything is rather brown this time of year—not much snow in the valley right now. Drove up to the pull-off on Beaver Dam Road. Rode out a way on Beaver Dam road to Suto Road, then to Bush drive, out to 'A' frame house, then back, then down Long Road to gravel pit/house with the metal fence where they store garbage, back down Bush drive to Beaver Dam to car.
