Reidsville Bike Ride. Route: CR 412. Udell Road. Flood Road. CR 11. Tan Hollow Road.

Again my memory is failing me on the extact street names. Another bike hike, parked at top of Tan Hollow Road. Enjoy biking around this area, as it's fairly flat and the terrian is either barrien or quite interesting with houses and trailers owned by poor junky people. I enjoy looking at people's junk and how they integrate our consumerist society into their poverty and farmlife (be it old road signs or hub cabs or barrels made into dog houses). Coming back went past this trailer, where the people had two pigs (yes, literal swine), along with their 3 or 4 beef cattle. I had never seen any other people with pigs around, as those animals are pretty dirty and smelly to have as pets (far worst then cattle). Everything else about the same, including the barking at me Udell Road, and the rednecks giving me the usual strange look. P'Link

Regular Boomhower Road Route. Route: Regular Boomhower Road Route.

Not a lot of excitement to report today. Adrift in my usual free thought on everything not-related to bicycle riding and the environment around me, but there was little traffic. Saw some whitetail deer, and a hunter driving around with a pickup truck and gun rack looking for some spots to illegally take deer. Hopefully before he poaches, the nice Albany Water Board person driving around will give him an apperance ticket for nice city criminal court. Very foggy out today, but not too wet. Took a slight fall on the way back when derailer stuck, but okay. Noticed how the Boomhower Farm had icle lights on it (ugly touch to an otherwise beautiful farmhouse). P'Link
