Partridge Run with My Dog. I went up to Partidge Run with my dog in my pickup. Eli, the new dog, is a lot smaller then our previous one and kept getting slammed into the right door and dashboard. Need to find some way to restrain her.
Walked along the creek along Partridge Run. The dog really enjoyed being out there, as did I as I hadn't really been back to P Run since getting back from Plattsburgh. It was evening, with a slight chill starting to come on. It was starting to get dark.
We walked up to the field off-P Run road that's above the creek and around it, then to the culvert the covers the creek. I miss just being out here, and walking along these beautiful little roads. This area is so amazing and I missed it a lot. Heard some birds but didn't see much in the way of wildlife.
I headed back along Beaver Truck Trail, which was legally closed but still passable by my pickup. Very bumpy and somewhat icy to say the least. I didn't get stuck or slide around much, which was good. Saw one person up there, probably a deer hunter trying to see if he can bag something at the end of the season. P'Link
